Wonder Festival 2009
by admin on Jul.27, 2009, under events
This was Tokyo VR Studio’s first year at Wonder Festival 2009. We had a great time sitting in the Gainax Otaku room, oogling over the many custom ‘garage kit’ figures, listening to the live musical performances and running away from Gloomy Bear. (The camera equipment slowed us down, and we just bear-ly made it away with our lives. Ha, ha, ha… -_-;) Below are some panoramas from Wonder Festival 2009 dedicated to those who couldn’t come to Japan, couldn’t make it out to Makuhari Messe, or anyone who passed out from heat exhaustion or gave up on the 2-hour wait to get into the event. Enjoy ^^
P.S. Still-picture post to follow!

I’m blown away by the clarity of your panoramas! They’re so flawlessly stitched together! How do you do it? The close-up on Gloomy Bear is intense (and I just noticed he’s got blood on his claws O_o!) You did a fantastic job and I hope your talents are used for other awesome events like this!

Thankfully that blood isn’t ours, though it very nearly was. Gloomy Bear likes to slash quite a bit, and our tripods were almost casualties.
